Are these boots suitable for Heavyweight hiking?1 answer
Are these boots suitable for heavyweight hiking up to about 5 days?
Erik Adair - Seven Hills(6 years ago)
G'day Erik,
The Keen Oakridge is a mid-weight boot and whilst I would say they are fine for carrying a heavy pack, it's worthwhile considering the terrain as well. If you're hiking on reasonably well-maintained trails boots like these are fine. If you were going to spend 5 days walking 'off track' in Tasmania, I'd probably recommend something heavier. Feel free to give us a call on 1300 914 007 and you can have a chat with one of our boot experts about where you're planning on walking and what sort of boots would be best suited.
