Would this be adequate for Larapinta trail in winter?

G'day,
Sleeping mats dont keep you warm by default, they only provide an insulative layer between you and the ground. Something to consider is that the EN testing for sleeping bag comfort temps is done on a R-Value 4 mat, so a mat with less than this may effect the comfort temp capabilities of your bag. If you're sleeping bag well and truely covers the temps you expect to be in, it shouldn't be an issue, but if it's close (eg. a -4 bag) I'd recommend looking at a mat with an R-Value of 4 or more.
