Almost in the standing room category, the Zempire Neo 4 Dome Tent is a roomy yet compact tent for small families or couples.
Catering for all but the worst of weather, the geodesic frame creates a roomy and stable structure with tons of ventilation through draft vents, side windows and a single entrance.
A front vestibule caters for storage and wet gear, internal storage pockets, lantern hooks and space for 3 campers, the Zempire Neo 4 Dome Tent is great value for money and comes complete with strapping good looks.
I notice that above the large windows on the fly, there appear to be rolled up covers so that the opening can be closed. Are these windows able to be closed with zippered covers on ghe fly (lightblue area on fly)
John - St Clair(5 years ago)
G'day John,
Yes, the side windows can be completely zipped closed. The blue material rolled up at the top rolls down and zips down the sides to provide full weather protection.

Is the Neo 4 dome tent easy to pitch with one person and are there any instructions on line?1 answer
I am a reasonably fit but elderly lady who requires a tent that is easy for one person to erect. I would like a good quality tent that will withstand normal wind and rain and preferably one in which I can stand. Would the Zempire Neo 4 dome tent meet my needs? I have pitched a Coleman darkroom 4p dome tent on my own but it had only two diagonal poles. Would the additional poles in Neo 4 make it more difficult to pitch? I don't want to purchase the Neo 4 and then find I can't put it up. Please advise.

G'day Wendy,
The Zempire Neo 4 Dome Tent is relatively straight forward to put up, and much the same as other dome style tents. Based on the information you've given, I would assume you'd have no trouble. Being a geodesic construction you'll find this tent very strong, and definately capable of withstanding winds and rain, it also gives alot more useable space than your normal dome tents, as the walls are alot more vertical!

Zempie Neo 4 Dome 2 answers
Does the front door (at the entrance to the actual tent area) have two covers, a fly screen and a material cover? If it only has a fly screen door wouldn't it be breezy even with the front door of the vestibule closed allowing the wind up from the bottom of the front area to blow into the tent through the closed screen door into the bedroom area. Thank you for your help.
Sue - Springwood(7 years ago)
G'day Sue,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I've just confirmed this with Zempire and they've told me that the entrance of the Neo 4 tent is a single layer solid door with no mesh, so you will be able to close it up in breezy conditions.
Emily - Snowys(7 years ago)
I own this tent and can confirm the outer vestibule (fly) is a single solid mesh layer with no mesh. The entrance to the inner tent is a double layer, double zip design allowing either a mesh or solid layer. So you can fully close off the outer fly and have a large mesh inner tent door for loads of ventilation or a solid door for warmth.

Fly screens3 answers
Hi guys, just wondering does this tent have fly screens, ie an internal mesh door/windows?
Liz - Bongaree(7 years ago)
G'day Liz,
The Zempire Neo 4 Dome Tent does have mesh fly screens on all its doors and windows.
Ben - Snowys(7 years ago)
Hi Ben, Emily in the question above answered there is no mesh. Could you please confirm if there is both a mesh and solid door or just solid? Thank you in advance!
Jack - Melbourne (6 years ago)
G'day Jack,
Sorry for the confusion, I can confirm that the front internal door is a dual layer (one mesh, one solid). The side mesh windows can be opened up for ventilation by unzipping the external solid cover.

Alloy Poles1 answer
Hi, can the poles be replaced with Alloy Poles to make this a stronger tent in high wind areas?
Andy - Dubbo(7 years ago)
G'day Andy,
The Zempire Neo 4 tent comes with fibreglass poles and they don't offer an alloy pole option for it at this point in time. If you're after a tent with alloy poles you would be best suited to a hiking tent in the Zempire Range.

Correct size mesh for this tent?1 answer
Hi,
Is the Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp 8 x 12 Foot the correct size for this tent?
Is this the correct size
Andy - Dubbo(7 years ago)
Hi Andy,
I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The Neo 4 is 340L x 240W cm, so the Ultramesh tarp in the 8 x 12 ft / 2.44 x 3.65 size should be just perfect to cover the underside of your tent.
