Say goodbye to sloshing around on the trail with the Mule LR from Camelbak. The iconic Mule has now been improved on with the addition of Camelbak’s new Crux reservoir system which delivers 20% more water per sip, and rests on your lumbar area for better stability when you’re on more technical rides.
The Air foil back panel system works to make sure you stay cool and ventilated on the trail, and the top pad is raised from the pack so you’ll get that flow of air and flexibility. The lumbar area features perforated foam padding for comfort and air flow so you won’t feel sweaty and weighed down when you’re on a ride. The hip belt is going to add to your stability, and it has storage pockets to keep all your essentials within arm’s reach when you’re on the go. As your water supply dwindles, you can just cinch in your reservoir with the compression straps to prevent sloshing when you’re mid-ride.
The built in helmet carrier will keep your headgear secure, and won’t interfere with the rest of your gear, while the separate zippered compartment has space for all your smaller items for easy organisation. The Mule LR also comes with a rain cover, so you can be prepared for all weather conditions. For stability and balance on technical rides, the Mule LR from Camelbak is the ideal hydration pack for the serious bike enthusiast.

Do the waist straps stow easily?1 answer
If I go for a hike, I sometimes prefer not using waist straps. Can the waist straps be stowed easily without causing uncomfortable lumps against my back?
Nick - Perth(8 years ago)
G'day Nick,Â
I've just had a look at the Camelbak MULE LR 15 Hydration Pack in person, and I've found that the waist straps are not removable, so I don't think you're going to be able to store them away unfortunately.Â

Will it fit a vertical Antidote reservoir?1 answer
I currently have a vertical type Antidote reservoir and was hoping the pack would fit it just in case I wanted to go traveling with a single bladder.
Nick - Perth(8 years ago)
Hi Nick,Â
The MULE LR 15 Hydration Pack from Camelbak doesn't have a place to hang a vertical reservoir on the interior of the pack, so it's only going to be compatible with a lumbar style reservoir.Â
