The Coleman Mudgee Sleeping Bag will keep you comfy on warm weather camping trips.
The contoured design will keep your head on the bag, and the bag off your face so you can sleep peacefully out in the elements. The comfort cuff at the top of the bag allows you to bury your face into your bag in softness, while the Thermolock draft tube will prevent warmth escaping through the zipper.
If you struggle to pack stuff away, then the good news is that the Mudgee C-3 has roll control to help you keep your bag straight when you’re rolling it up. When you’re trying to unzip your bag in the middle of the night for a loo break, or if you’re too hot the struggle can be all too real when it gets caught in the fabric. Coleman have put a snag-free opening and closing on the Mudgee, so you can get in and out with a hassle.
For a value for money sleeping bag that will keep you comfortable on warm weather camping trips, then the Mudgee C5 is just what you need.

Will the Coleman fleece liner zip together with this bag, if not any Coleman that it will zip into ? Thanks Drew
G'day Drew,
The Stratus Fleece liner is definitely compatible with the Mudgee C5 but it doesnt zip in or attach. Thats generally the case with majority of sleeping bag and liner combinations, and shouldn't be to much of an issue.
If having the liner zipped in is an important feature, go with the Pilbara C-5.
I am looking at the Sea to Summit Compression Sacks and wondering what size would be best for this sleeping bag?
G'day Jessica,
The XL size will be the best bet, as it's the closest to the original Coleman Sack. Might be worth mentioning though that Synthetic Bags generally arent designed to be compressed because it can damage the hollow fibres which stay fluffy to insulate. There are some top of the line technical synthetic bags that have been designed to compress, but it's not something we recommend for the average car camping bags.
Can the sleeping bag also be used as a blanket?
G'day Irena,
Yes, you can open up the Mudgee C5 Sleeping Bag and use it as a blanket with no worries at all.
Wondering what the inside is lined with? Is it cotton
G'day Macca,
The lining of the Mudgee C5 Sleeping bag is a brushed polyester fabric. So no it's not cotton sorry.
Hi, Can the Mudgee C5 zip together with the Pilbara C0? My husband and I are different heights and widths so we're looking at different models. Thanks.
G'day Romaine,
I've had a play around with zipping both together but had no luck! This is due to the different bag sizes and zips that don't align. The best bet is to either buy two Mudgees or two Pilbaras to make a double sleeping bag.
Is it possible to zip two Mudgee C5 bags together to create a double?
G'day Gloria,
You can zip together two Mudgee C5 sleeping bags to create a double. They aren't quite rectangular and have a slight hood so one person will end up with a bit of a hood over their face.
What is the range of temperature it is suitable for use
G'day Vijay,
The Coleman Mudgee C5 Sleeping Bag is good for temperatures down to about 5°C. Anything lower than that and you'll be pretty cold. As for a maximum temperature, it just comes down to your personal preference. This bag can be unzipped at the feet or down the side, so you can adjust the temperature by opening it up to allow ventilation.
In warmer weather I like to open my bag into a quilt or, in cooler weather, snuggle up with two. If the Mudgee C5 doesn't open out, is there one that does?
G'day Shelley,
Good news! The Coleman Mudgee C5 Sleeping Bag does unzip all the way around, so you've got plenty of great camping trips ahead of you, no matter what the weather is doing!
