Can this be used as just a whole fridge or freezer?1 answer
There are times when I would prefer this to be a whole fridge or whole freezer, can this be achieved by removing the center panel?
Bart - Kalangadoo(6 years ago)
G'day Bart,
We've been chatting with our expert fridge team and they've indicated that the unit is designed to be used as a half fridge, half freezer. With the freezer side set down to -18'C the fridge side will likely hover around the 0'C mark. The middle divider is only removable in the 40L combi size, not the 60L or 80L combi size. So theroetically you could use the whole unit as a fridge, but one side would be likely a little warm to be classed as a fridge.

Temperature control1 answer
I’m confused, this has separate fridge and freezer compartments but there appears to be only one temperature control? How does that work?
Dave - Wynn Vale (6 years ago)
G'day Dave,
I ran this one by our resident fridge expert as I didn't have one plugged in I could play with. These units only have cooling elements on the freezer side and the fridge temp can't be independently controlled, it's just separated by insulated panels to keep the temp a bit higher on that side. The user manual has a chart that gives you a guide as to what temperature the fridge will be when the freezer is set to particular temps. So not quite as much control as something like the Waeco Dual Zone would give you with independent temperature controls.
