We are looking for a fridge about 80cm long for a new camper trailer and think that this would be close without the handles.

can you turn the freezer section up to fridge temperatures so you can use entire fridge as a fridge only? Then when freezer is needed just change the setting?

G'day Tim,
Unfortunately, this combination fridge/freezer won't quite work that way. The Combi model is designed to be run as a freezer on one side, and then the overflow from the freezer compartment is what keeps the fridge side cool. If you run the freezer side at fridge temperatures then your regular fridge side won't be very cold at all.

LED interior light1 answer
Can you confirm whether or not this model has an interior light? Engel advertises that the MT-V series comes with interior LEDs. If it doesn't can you tell me which models do have lights?

I've just double-checked our display model and confirmed that the MT-V60FC Combi doesn't have an LED light. The MT-V60F has a light though, as do the other sizes, so it's just the Combi models that don't have LED lights.

Is the lid able to be switched to be opened from the other way, IE the lid was reversed around to have latches on the other side and the lid open up from the opposite direction, when fitted into my Landcruiser canopy on the passenger side, the lid opening would be facing the rear and front of my caravan. Also how much is a 2nd spare power cord i can put an Anderson plug onto.

Unfortunately not, you won't be able to reverse the lid to open for the other side, the hinge mounts are only on one side of the unit. You can find extra 12V cables here, obviously making modifications to the cable is done at your own risk though.
