Longer bolts1 answer
Wondering you you can change the bolts to a longer one?
Tim - Cowes, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Tim,
Unfortunately, you can't, the bolts are fixed but will fit up to 4 Maxtrax boards.

Thread length1 answer
How long is the thread length? (Wanting to mount on a RTT so want to make sure it’s long enough to get through the roof)
Joel - Aldinga Beach, SA(2 years ago)
G'day Joel,
The thread is 40mm long, with the nut being around 10mm thick....meaning the roof section would have to be max 30mm deep in order to get these anchored.
Hope that helps.

Product - Features1 answer
Hi Lauren/Ben, could you please advise if the Maxtrax MkII Pin Set is compatible i.e. can be used for securing the original Maxtrax version boards, thanks?
Sam - Thornleigh, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Sam,
When you say 'original' Maxtrax, are you talking about pre 2006? The MKII versions have been on the market since 2006/2007, even before they were officially renamed. If your mounting holes are perfectly round, they are the original pre 2006 trax. If the mounting holes are key shaped, you've got the MKII & these pins will be fine. Unfortunately, there are no mounting pin options for the original trax - hope that helps!

Fitting1 answer
Will this fit an OCAM tradie roof rack?
James - Melbourne, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day James,
Maxtrax haven't provided us with roof rack brand compatibility, you may have to get in touch with them directly for specific roof rack info. The bolt and washer end is the end that will attach to your roof racks directly, so if you have smaller channels or holes in your roof racks you should be able to make it work.

Fitting 1 answer
Will this fit onto a rhino roof rack?
Lyn - Grafton, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Lyn,
The Maxtrax Mounting Pin Set - MKII is designed with a generic roof rack attachment designed to fit into a standard roof rack channel. Unless you have a custom roof rack system I cannot see why this wouldn't be compatible.
