Wondering why you aren't carrying them anymore?1 answer
I can see them on the Coleman website, but your website says you won't be getting anymore. I assume it's not a supply problem then, did this newer model shelter turn out to have some problems?

I'm not 100% on what website you are looking at, but I've just checked Coleman Australia's website and can't find the Mountain View Sun Shelter listed. In chasing an answer to your question, unfortunately, Coleman Australia has chosen not to supply these shelters at the moment. There is no definitive word at this stage on whether they will bring them back into the range.

Hi Mark,
The Mountain View Shelter packs down  to 62L x 24.5W x 24.5H cm. It's quite compact compared to some of the other shelters and gazebos of a similar size so a good choice if you don't have too much space in the car boot!Â

I'd like to use this sun shelter at the beach. Should I buy additional stakes or stabilising ropes or are they included? Are there any extras which you think would be beneficial at the beach? Thanks.

We've just confirmed with our display model and the Mountian View Sun Shelter does come with attached guy ropes, and 12 pegs included.
However, if you were wanting to use this shelter at the beach, it is a good idea to pick up some sand pegs like the Poles Apart Sand Pegs in the 300 size as that will give you more stability on softer ground.Â

G'day Diana. This particular Coleman Mountain View Sun Shelter doesn't come with a floor attached, however if you did want a floor in it there are great options available for you. We do have the Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp 3.65x3.65m that will fit easily below this Shelter and will provide a great surface to stand upon, or the Kookaburra Dura Green heavy Duty Tarp is also a great option if you wanted more protection. Cheers!

G’day Carol, I’ve been in contact with Coleman and the news is that they don’t have any spare side walls to sell, they only come as a package deal with the Mountain View Sun Shelter. I’m sorry we couldn’t get a hold of them for you - but if you’re wanting a fully enclosed area you might want to consider a screen or mozzie dome shelter instead of a beach shade.
