STS MICRO 11 - does a long right hand zipper exist pls?1 answer
Is there such a thing as a micro 11 sleeping bag with a right hand zip pls?
Thanks & Regards

G'day Peter,Â
I've just had a look through the information provided by the supplier, and I've found that the Sea to Summit Micro MCII Sleeping Bag doesn't come in a Long Right Zipper size.
I'm not actually sure why this is the case, but at a guess I'd say that the long size isn't as popular as the regular so there may be not a huge demand for it. Â

Just a few more questions if that's okay?1 answer
Thanks Emily, I appreciate the prompt response and your recommendations.
We're concerned with the mummy shaped sleep liner because if we opened the bottom end of the sleeping bag to turn it into a rectangular shaped sleeping wouldn't we be restricted by the mummy shape liner? Excuse our ignorance, we've never used a liner before.
If we order the regular pillows what would be ETA?
Finally, in terms of the waterproof bag, is this the lightest and most compact? We are going for this sleeping bag because it is light weight and it is very compact.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Rube,
You're very welcome - that's what I'm here for. In terms of the liner - all of them are an envelope shape so you won't be able to open them at the bottom. The Micro MCII Sleeping Bag is made for hiking so its bottom is very narrow, and it only unzips up the side- so it's not designed to be used open like how you've described.Â
I made a little mistake there re: the pillow- you don't need to sleep with it inside the sleeping bag hood, in fact it would probably be too snug, so you would sleep with it under the sleeping bag.Â
We've got an Ultralight version of the Aeros pillow in the regular size which would probably be even better if weight is a concern which you can see here. The ETA on the Aeros Regular pillow is not confirmed but in general it should be 5-10 business days from that supplier.Â
The Ultra-Sil Super-Lightweight Dry Sack is the lightest we have, and with the MCII you'd need the 4L for a very snug fit, or the 8L if you want it looser (there's no in between size unfortunately). If you have any further queries, feel free to give us a buzz on1300 914 007 and one of our customer service staff will be happy to help.Â

Which lightweight silk liner and pillow would you recommend? 1 answer
Hello,
I'm looking at purchasing two of these sleeping bags, one for my wife and I. Could you please confirm if you recommend a left and right zipper bag?
Also, what do you recommend for a waterproof bag?
Rube - Sydney(8 years ago)
G'day Rube,
For the Sea to Summit Micro MCII Sleeping Bag, I'd recommend a Mummy shaped liner like this silk one from Sea to Summit , and as for a pillow you'd need a small one with this bag.
Ideally the the Aeros Camp/Hike Regular would be a good size for this hood, but we are out of stock currently for this size, so you could go for something a little larger like the Large Aeros Camp/Hike pillow.Â
You don't need to get a Left and Right side zipper with each bag, that's really just a personal preference option.Â
And for a waterproof bag, a stuff sack is always a good option like the Sea to Summit Compression Dry Sack, that way you can save some space and keep water out.Â
