Made to last, the Jolly Swagman Matilda Kingsize swag is a traditional style swag with ample space, in a simple, compact and durable design.

One full-length side zipper secures a single canvas cover, while an insect-proof mesh end panel is closed with a second zip. The Matilda swag is pitched with optional guy ropes and/or adjustable head pole through a heavy duty eyelet, while an included foot pole keeps the canvas off your feet.

The mattress is made up of medium density full-length foam on top, and high-density foam on the bottom which is cut shorter to support the torso. This progressive density design provides maximum comfort and minimal bulk.

Made with tough 15oz proofed TearCheck™ Canvas on the top, and 17oz on the base, the Jolly Swag range is finished off with high-quality components throughout.

Can you unzip the swag completely and lay the canvas flat?1 answer

Is the swag able to be completely unzipped and the canvas laid out flat beside the mattress?

I've had a chat with Jolly Swagman and unfortunately, this swag is unable to be fully unzipped - the zip only goes down one side. They do make a model called the Bowen (BM43) which can be completely opened up. Send us an email to service@snowys.com.au if you'd like us to look into this further for you.

The foot pole included with the Matilda King Single Swag is fibreglass. If you're looking for a head pole we can certainly recommend the Big Foot Aluminium Swag Pole.

In the description the swag is listed as having a 5 year warranty. Further down it states the warranty is lifetime! Just a little confused.

Sorry for our error on this one. Jolly Swagman offers a lifetime warranty on all components of the Matilda King Single Swag. Whilst that can be left a touch open to interpretation and a touch confusing for us, we're pretty confident in these swags. I doubt you'll have any worries at all but if you do, we'll do all we can to help.

Hi Murray! While this would, if necessary, function better as a flat swag than what a dome style swag would, it really isn't meant for that. You would have the canvas resting on your face and it is quite a heavy canvas so you might find it rather uncomfortable.

I've re-measured the packed dimensions and updated them, so the correct details (80L x 25H x 25W) should now be live.

Hi Yvonne, I'm pretty sure it's the Jolly Swag Sundowner, although the colours are different on the video, there is a good chance they used a prototype to make the video. We have this model on our website, just search for "Sundowner". Jolly Swags are high quality swags with thick and durable canvas. The poles come with a lifetime warranty too!

Hi Yvonne, the mattress is 75cm wide and a comfortable 7cm thick. Jolly swag use a high quality dual density foam that is thicker through the torso and thinner at the feet. This gives comfort where it is needed, makes it easier to roll up, and makes for a smaller packed size.
