If you’re sick of getting bogged down by clunky gear every time you try and take a spontaneous weekend trip, then the Malamoo 2.0 is the ideal tent for you.
Perfect for anyone from camping novices, to those who want a quick option that involves minimal effort. All you have to do is lay it flat, pop it out, peg it down, and voila! Instant shelter. In wet weather, the 100% waterproof fly will keep you protected from the elements, and on balmier nights you can remove it when you’re in need of a cool breeze. The inner has mesh panels which will provide you with plenty of breathability to keep the air fresh and to prevent condensation building up.
Oztent have also cleverly created this tent with a door on each end – so they’ll be no more stepping oversleeping (and grumpy) campers to answer nature’s call in the middle of the night. Each door also has mesh and solid doors, you have the option of privacy and weather protection, or extra ventilation when the weather is warm.
One of the most compact, and easy to use tents on the market – the Malamoo Journey 2.0 will have you covered for a spur-of-the-moment trip.
Pre-attached guy ropes
2 interior storage pockets
Brass eyelets in fly doors for an extension as an awning (poles not included)
Hi,
What are the main differences between the Malamoo Journey and the Cicara?

G'day Siobhan,
The big difference would be that the Journey packs up a bit smaller. Take a look at the packed dimensions of each to get an idea how much smaller. They're also a bit longer and skinnier with a lower roof height than the Cicara tents when pitched. The Journey also needs to be pegged out to get it to stand up properly so that's worth keeping in mind if you visit rocky or sandy campsites where a freestanding model might be easier to deal with.

Rooms? Light hook? How does fly attach?1 answer
Sorry, I accidentally submitted other question too soon.
Can I hang a light from ceiling?
It looks like 2 rooms; is that right?
You say the fly can be removed. How does it attach? When you popup the tent is the fly already attached like the Mega4P?

Looking for a Perth summer version of Mega 4P - is this it?1 answer
I've only used my 4P once, in early Perth winter. It was perfect (except no light hook), but I'm assuming might be too hot in Perth summer. Which is my best bet for a 2nd summer tent to fit 2 Megamat 10LXW? (The 3.0 tent seems too huge.)

G'day and thanks for the question. The Malamoo Journey tent is a compact, easy to put up tunnel tent ideal for 2-3 people. The fly attaches using T shaped plastic hooks into rings to hold it firmly in place and clips onto the base of the tent. This tent features a single room with a door at each end of the tent, allowing excellent flow through of air on those warmer days under the sun, and lets you enter the tent without having to stumble over your camping partner. The fly can also be removed easily by unclipping from the base of the tent and from the T shaped hooks and folding up to go inside one of the storage pockets inside. There are generous pockets each side of the tent for your camping essentials or somewhere to put a lantern if needed as with many pop uptents this model does not feature a hook for a lamp.Â
Another option perhaps could be the Outdoor Connection Easy Up 3 Pop Up Tent which features larger side windows for ventilation, tunnel design with a door at each end, and vestible storage areas outside both ends. This tent can be found on the link:Â https://www.snowys.com.au/easy-up-3-pop-up-tent
