The Oztent Malamoo Cicara 2.0 3P Tent is the same quick and easy to set up tent that the camping world knows and loves, just with a different name. You won’t be messing around at the campsite with this tent, it’ll revolutionise the way you camp!
The Malamoo Cicara is a true all-in-one tent, as it has a built-in pole structure, plus an attached fly and guy ropes. All you need to do is take the tent out of its bag, and apart from adding some pegs, the tent will do the rest of the hard work for you. This tent has a dual skin construction, so it has a waterproof fly over the inner which has a set-back interior mesh door which creates an enclosed front vestibule.
A versatile shelter for 2-3 season use, the functional Malamoo Cicara provides some extra shelter in warmer weather when you set up the front awning. When you need a fuss-free tent for your next weekend away, the Malamoo Cicara 2.0 is a perfect choice.
Does this tent have peg loops like the 3.0? The (great) video you guys made about the 3.0 said it was important to use loops to avoid crushing the fiberglass pole. Many thanks!

Hi Luke,
There is a gap in the fabric so you can peg these out, but no loops, so we'd suggest using some nylon rope to make some short loops if you're not super sure your hammer won't slip off the peg when banging them in.

Front vestibule leaking1 answer
Have they fixed the issue where water leaks into the front vestibule when it rains? From what I understand the front awning doesn't seal down the bottom and this was an issue on the older models.

G'day Luke,
The front vestibule can be susceptible to water leaking based on the design. We'd recommend the Cicara range mainly for fair weather camping.

Internal size.1 answer
Have two exped lxw 10, will these fit with the rounded corners of the tent?
Bruce - Wagga Wagga(6 years ago)
They will fit with a bit of room for gear, Bruce. Check out this article we created for those working out a tent and mat combination - https://www.snowys.com.au/blog/which-sleeping-mats-will-fit-in-my-pop-up-tent/. For the purposes of the Cicara 3.0, look at the Malamoo Mega which is the older version of the Cicara 3.0 but share the same dimensions. I hope this helps.

Windows1 answer
Just wondering if these new new models have inside opening windows? I believe the classic could only be opened from outside? Any other differences between the Cicara and the classic Malamoo?
Troy - Perth(7 years ago)
G'day Troy,
The new Oztent Malamoo Cicara 2.0 3P Tent is pretty much identical to the previous Malamoo tent, it's mostly a rebranding exercise by Oztent on them. The windows are exactly the same as the previous model.
