Explore all year long while sheltering yourself every night in a new location with the light-blocking Lodge 240 Tourer LED Tent from OZtrail.
This tent features OZtrail’s integrated Fast Frame design so that setting up every night is a breeze. The fly is made from a 150D fabric for protection from the elements with a Nite room coating that helps to block out light so you can sleep through the sunrise which also helps reduce heat build-up. The Lodge 240 Tourer also has integrated LED lights with low, medium and high settings that can be run off either a separately available USB powerbank or 4 x D cell batteries.
To give you extra space to relax under, this tent also has a generously sized awning and the 150D PVC coated polyester floor that folds up easier and keeps you dry. When you’re touring Australia, camp out each night in the easy to pitch Lodge 240 Tourer LED Tent from OZtrail.

Do you have the green sidewalls to fit the 240?
G'day Ruben,
Unfortunately not, the range has been discontinued, so we're no longer able to get our hands on them.
Does the awning double as the solid layer door panel? Or is there a solid (none mesh) door on the inner layer. This can you have the awning up and have a non-mesh panel on the door?
G'day Matylda,
The front door is a dual-layer door with an internal solid privacy screen. The awning is designed to always be set up as pictured and doesn't double as a door.
Dose the door have a solid panel to closed it off in bad weather?
G'day Ruben,
Yes, the door has the option of either mesh or a solid door to fully enclose the tent.
G'day, in regards to the usb input that powers the LEDs, is it a male or female usb connector? Cheers
G'day Blake,
The USB port is male and will plug directly into a USB Power Bank or USB port on a 240V charger.
Can the mesh roof panels be closed off on this model as opposed to the Tourer and Cruiser models which cannot. Was looking at a Tourer model however have concerns of heat escaping through roof during colder months.
G'day Steve,
There are dual-layer mesh and solid panels in the roof of the Lodge 240 so you can close up the mesh during the colder months.
Front and rear?
G'day SP,
The Lodge 240 Tourer LED Fast Frame Tent just has the one D shaped door at the front.
Hi, can you attach extra side and front panels to the awning like the cruiser and tourer?
G'day Pete,
Yes, the Oztrail Fast Frame Front and Side Walls are compatible with the Lodge 240 Tourer LED Fast Frame Tent.
Are the side panels interchangeable from left to right?
G'day David,
The Fast Frame Panels are the only ones currently available, and OzTrail have advised they will fit the LED Lodge series.
Just be sure the select the size panels that correspond with your size model tent. Also, the side panels are interchangeable.
Hope that helps.
Is this a full fly or a cap fly? It's a bit hard to tell from the photos
G'day Emilie,
I've just double checked and the Lodge 240 Tourer has a full fly.
How does this compare with the Coleman Gold with very similar specs & same price? Is this a "heavier" grade wall material than Coleman? Which is better value for $ - both seem pretty good.
This is a tough one to answer sorry, George.
The Oztrail Lodge tents are new to us, and so far, apart from the obvious differences in the awnings and vestibules, they are very comparable, right down to the fabrics.
The benefit Coleman has is that we have a history of knowing the reliability of the tents, and common issues have been ironed out over time.
That's about all the advice I can honestly give you, I hope it helps.
This one person is a162cm not particularly fit or strong person.
G'day Jenny,
Yes, with a bit of practice one person can erect the Lodge 240 Tourer Tent. The overall height will mean that getting the fly up and over the top might be a little tricky, but it is definitely possible and has been done by a few of our staff who are shorter that this.
