I've just had a look and unfortunately the capacity of the battery is not listed. The USB output is 1 Amp, so it will probably be able to top up your phone, but possibly not provide a full charge.

Unfortunately this unit doesnt have the same functionality with its battery. It may be possible to order a secondary Lithium Battery pack through coleman as a spare part however, so if you'd like us to follow that up shoot through an email to service@snowys.com.au.

I've just had a play with the Lithium Ion LED Easy Hang Lantern in our darkroom and if you hang it horizontally it throws light really well. If you hang it vertically the light throws sideways with no distinct shadow and will still light your tent well but not as well as the horizontal configuration.

I've just had a look at the Coleman Lithium Ion LED Easy Hang Hang Lantern for you. On the packaging, it says that there is some water resistance but I certainly wouldn't look to submerge it or anything like that.

Unfortunately, Coleman doesn't have this information available. I've called their head office and scoured the packaging and can't find any information of the mAh, only charge and run times.

Coleman is regularly updating and improving their products (like most of our brands) and the current model Easy Hand Lantern is proving to be quite popular. The introduction of Lithium-Ion battery technology has changed the game a little as the care and attention required is much less than the old lead cell batteries - so this has certainly helped.

The other beauty of this lantern is that it can also be used as a power source for other devices like phones and cameras if you so choose to do so.

The important thing with any rechargeable product is to follow manufacturer instructions regarding care and use and if that still fails, we'll always be here to help.

The Coleman Easy Hang Lantern is a brilliant multi-purpose lantern. Sounds like you've found a fantastic option for what you're after!

A lot of the brightest lights we have here are white lights so I'm not sure what sort of space you'd like to illuminate but if its the inside of a tent, the Moji XP is a lovely warm light but at about a third of the output, however, I find this enough in my small hiking tent.

If you'd like something of a similar output, the Coleman Vanquish Push 450 lantern has similar light output and is also USB rechargeable but has a frosted glass which makes it a much friendlier light but not exactly yellow.

I've just double checked this on the display model, and the Coleman Lithium Ion LED Easy Hang Lantern has a rechargeable battery that's actually built into it - so it definitely comes with the battery included.

There are a couple of differences between the Easy Hang and the Vanquish Spin 550. The main one is that the Vanquish Spin has a lock function to help stop battery drain. It’s also got a higher amount of lumens at 550, compared to the Easy Hang which has a max of 400.

The Vanquish Spin also has four light settings – high, medium, low, and flashing while the Easy Hang has just low and high. Both are rechargeable, but the Vanquish Spin just has a few more speccy features.
