The Lawson Jumbo has a large rectangular shape for your comfort and a luxury cocoon lip hood which has a drawcord to trap warmth. This bag features two 150 gsm ExoTherm Xr synthetic hollow fibre fill which provides a minimum temperature rating of -5°C and has a ripstop polyester outer to help prevent tears. The zip guard provides a smooth snag-less experience, while the draft tubes over the zips keep the cold air from getting in.
There’s a Velcro closure at the top of the zip allows you to control the temperature by adjusting the zip while keeping the bag around you. I've just had a peek at the label of this bag downstairs, and the lining of this bag is made from polycotton, so it shouldn't have that silky feel. Cheers!

The Lawson Commando Mega Hooded sleeping bag from Oztrail does have a separate side and foot zip allowing you open the bag up like a quilt.
