I have tried a few moon chairs and find that the metal bar across the front/ under seat cuts into the back of my legs. Can’t quite see if this will be an issue with this chair - can you confirm if there is a bar under the seat at front where ones legs hang over?
Teri - Perth, WA(10 months ago)
G'day Teri,
This chair has a strap/webbing to support the front of the chair and there is no metal bar where your legs would hang over. This isn't an issue with this chair and it doesn't cut into the back of your legs and is quite comfy!

Koala lounge camp chair1 answer
How do you activate the hot spot?
John - Strathalbyn, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day John,
If you check out the product images you should see a photo of the zip up pouch on the back of the chair, as well as a gel pack. The gel pack has a small metal disc inside which you press to activate the heat process, this sits inside the pouch on the chair and creates a bit of warmth. The gel packs can be 'reset' by putting them in boiling water.
Hope that helps.

Seat depth1 answer
Can you please give me the seat depth measurement and possibly compare it to the Kokoda. I found the Kokoda not deep enough and cut into my thighs
natalie - Ballina, NSW (3 years ago)
G'day Natalie,
The Koala has a seat depth of 53cm, whereas the Kokoda has a seat depth of 40cm. Hope that helps!

Padding1 answer
Hi, is there enough padding in the head rest so you dont feel the metal frame?
G - Perth, WA(3 years ago)
G'day,
The chair does have a lot of padding, and whilst you will still feel the metal frame its not at all uncomfortable. Having said that though, chair comfort is quite subjective and can vary from person to person!

Table1 answer
Can you attach the Oztent table to this chair?
Mimi - East Victoria Park, WA(4 years ago)
G'day Mimi,
Unfortunately not, the Detachable Side Table needs a vertical front leg to attach to. The Koala Hotspot Lounge doesn't have this, so they're not compatible.
