The 20 Litre Kitchen Sink from Sea to Summit is a multi-use item, it can be used to carry water from source to camp for purification, to wash dishes in, and at the end of the day can also be used for personal bathing.
This sink features a stainless-steel stiffening ring combined with a wide base, so it stands upright and won't tip over whilst in use. It's made from durable fabric with tape sealed seams so it's more than suitable for use with hot water and detergent and it features wide webbing handles for easy carrying.
The light, strong and functional 20 Litre Kitchen Sink from Sea to Summit is a must-have for washing on your adventures.

Could this be used as the water source for the Companion Aquaheat shower system?
G'day Glenn,
In theory, it could, but these sinks only really maintain structure when full and flop/sag abit with less than the 20L capacity.
I'd also suggest that as this sink is low and wide the water level would drop below pump height quite soon (as the pump usually lays on its side) and you'll run out of water with 10L left.
If you need a compact shower 'bucket' option, check out the Ultra-Sil Folding Bucket, which will be a great option if you have somewhere to suspend it.
hi there. i cant for the life of me work out how something this size will hold 20L. Is that a typo somewhere-either size or capacity? Or is it a tardis?
It's no Tardis sorry, Connie. It measures about 35 cm across the top and bulges out further than this when it is full. Take this into account with an approximate height of 15cm and you get roughly 20 litres in volume.
