The King Rocker Chair from Outdoor Connection brings the comfort of your porch chair, with the convenience of a camping chair.

This chair has a sturdy powder coated steel frame, and a 600D fabric cover. It also comes with a rocking arm that clips onto the bottom of the front leg – so you can quickly and easily convert it. The high back of this seat means you can lean back in comfort, and the padded cover makes it a comfy place to relax in after a long day.

One side has a storage pocket which can keep your phone or other knick-knacks handy, and the other side has a drink holder, so you can keep a cold one near while you kick back. In the non rocking mode would this be suitable as a dining chair?1 answer

Also most camping chairs squash you into the centre. Does this chair do this?

G'day Jonathan,

The King Rocker is not as rigid and upright as something like a director's style chair, but there shouldn't be an issue using it as a dining chair. I've given this chair a go myself, and I didn't personally find that it squashed me into the centre.

G'day Kate,

Great question. While we haven't specifically tested it, I can't imagine it would be any different to other camping chairs as ultimately, they all have four feet. I guess it depends more so on the surface itself and how soft it is and how you're able to balance the four feet equally.

Having tested and sat in the Outdoor Connection King Rocker Camp Chair in store, I haven't found it to be any less sturdy than other camping chairs when the rocking legs off.
