Can you sit upright enough in these to sit at a table to eat?

Yes, you can. Check out the first product image we have listed as an example of the chair in upright position. It probably wouldn't be recommended to use at a table given the overall size and width of the chair though, as it's quite bulky, but if you had a larger/longer table it would probably work out ok.

We've just found out that the Sun Lounge Jumbo now comes with a lightweight carry cover, and it has some built-in handles. It appears to be a nylon material, and is very lightweight and isn't made from canvas, like the previous suggestion.
