Stove Compatibility1 answer
From the info provided on your site, I can see that the valve types/ attachments (Lindal) should be a match but just double- checking that the Jetboil cannisters are compatible with the 360 Degrees Furno stove?
Amie - Kirwan, QLD (1 year ago)
G'day Amie,
Yep, you are correct! The 360 Furno stoves can be used with any canisters that have a Lindal Valve. Always good to double check.

Inside the flash?1 answer
Will both the small and medium canisters fit inside the flash? Or just the small? Mine is out in the shed and can’t check what size I have lol
Kylie - Robertson, NSW (2 years ago)
G'day Kylie,
You'll only be able to fit the smaller 100g canister inside the Flash Hiking Stove. The 230g canister is too wide and tall to fit.

Butane/Propane ratios 1 answer
Hi, what percentage of the gas is butane and what percentage is propane? Thanks!
Andrew - Brisbane, QLD (2 years ago)
G'day Andrew,
The canisters are an 80% Iso-Butane, 20% Propane mixture, which makes them a 4-season fuel mix.

Canister size1 answer
Will all 3 of these size canisters fit inside the jetboil sumo? If not, which ones DO fit? Thanks in advance
Krystal - Richmond, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Krystal,
Because the burner shroud is also stored in the flask, only the 100g and 230g canisters will fit in the Sumo when all packed for transport.

Threading size1 answer
I bought a Jetboil while living in North America which has served me well, but now that I'm back in Aus, I'm wondering if the available Jetboil canisters use the same 7/16ths UNEF threading or whether Jetboils and canisters use metric threading over here?
Jesse - Coragulac, VIC(4 years ago)
G'day Jesse,
The connection on Jetboils, hiking stoves, and related hiking style gas canisters is known as a Lindal Valve, which is universal & standardised across compact hiking style cooking. I've personally not had any issues with compatibility during international travel, so I'm sure you'll be fine!

How long does the 100g, 230g, and 450g last while ignited? at the highest setting?2 answers
Is it enough to cook rice
Callum - Braybrook(4 years ago)
G'day Callum,
It will largely depend on the type of burner you're using, and what you're cooking. Generally, a 100g canister will have enough gas to last for a two day hike, boiling water at breakfast, lunch and dinner for coffee/tea/dehydrated meals. I usually carry a 230g canister on four-day hikes for two people and haven't run out before. In terms of cooking rice, yes any size canister will do the job, but the cooking time will depend on the rice, and stove/pot combination you use.

I use my Jetboil out field for up to 2 weeks using the Jetboil branded gas canister (Medium size) that's using it every morning to boil water for a shave and coffee and then again most nights to boil water for a warm meal.

Compatible stove types 1 answer
Hi there, wondering if this is compatible with the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 stove? Thanks
Steph - Dover Gardens(4 years ago)
G'day Steph,
Yes, the JetPower Fuel will work with any stove / lantern that has a Lindal valve style attachment. Hike style stoves, including the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 have this attachment and will connect to these canisters.
