Korjo Water Boiler1 answer
Could this effectively run your Korjo Water Boiler? Also rated at 350 watt.
Carl - Perth(4 years ago)
G'day Carl,
From a theoretical perspective, this would work, however from a practical point of view it's not really something we'd be keen to recommend. Boiling water using 12V is quite inefficient, and generally quite time consuming.

Tyre air compressor 1 answer
Is it powerful enough to run a 240v 150psi tyre air compressor?
Ryan - GLENMORE PARK(4 years ago)
G'day Ryan,
Theoretically, this should work, but it will depend on the wattage of your air compressor. The Inverter has a 350W maximum, so it would be worth double-checking the compliance plate on your air compressor to ensure the inverter will do the trick.

Charging and car battery drain1 answer
Hi Snowys, if I were to charge my laptop and mobile phone once a day while camping for the weekend (2-3 days) would it flatten my car battery? Thanks
Michael - Tullamarine(4 years ago)
G'day Michael,
There is built-in low battery shut down on the inverter, so you won't flatten your battery, however, you probably won't be able to charge your laptop and mobile phone everyday.

Hi could i run a 17 litre engel fridge freezer with this inverter??1 answer
Hi could i run a engel 17 litre fridge freezer with this inverter??
Doug - Elimbah(4 years ago)
G'day Doug,
This is the reverse of what you'll need. The MD17F is run from 12/240V so you'll need a 240V AC/DC converter to use this fridge from a standard 240V power outlet. If you have the old model MT17F that has a built-in converter then you'll just need to grab a new Type J cable to run it from 12V. Feel free to give us a call if you need any clarification.

Can this inverter be connected to a battery box using a Anderson plug connection1 answer
Can this inverter be connected to a battery box using a 10 amp cigaret type connection or a Anderson plug connection
Rod - 2079(5 years ago)
G'day Rod,
The inverter 12V DC to 240V AC is supplied with cables to suit a cig plug, or alligator clips, so if you wanted to connect it using an Anderson plus you'd need to have the cable modified, which you would do at your own risk.

Is this a pure sine wave inverter1 answer
Have this inverter but my phone screen freezes when I use it to charge my ph.
Kevin - Pottsville(6 years ago)
G'day Kevin,
The Engel Inverter 12V DC to 240V AC is a Modified Sine Wave Inverter so some electronics (like phones/tablets and laptops) will be able to be charged but not able to be used while they charge.

Heater1 answer
Can a small heater be run from the inverter in a motorhome, or does heat cause problems when plugged in
Karen armistead - Bairnsdale(6 years ago)
G'day Karen,
You should be able to run a small heater on the Engel 12V DC to 240V SC 350W inverter. You will need to check the wattage of your heater though as the maximum wattage is 350 watts.
