With the latest technology, the Coleman HyperFlame FyreCadet gas camping stove has revolutionized camp cooking with a new burner design and WindBlock pot support that opens up space for larger pots.
Perfect when you just need maximum output for boiling water or to cook on high heat, and easy to clean thanks to removable pan supports and the Coleman SwapTop system that enables a combination of cooking surfaces to be used on the stove at the same time.
A streamlined design with a secure lid latch, anti-skid feet and independently adjustable flame control with a total output of 22,000 BTU’s, the FyreCadet is made to deliver a fast and hot cooking solution wherever you set up camp.
Are these stoves compatible with the Coleman Eventemp griddle.
G'day Ali,
Due to the significantly higher BTU and heat output of the Hyperflame stoves, it is recommended that you use the HyperFlame specific griddle. The Eventemp or other non-cast iron hotplate will potentially buckle and warp.
Is this a high or low pressure stove? Wanting to be able to attach a longer gas hose, and the hose length restrictions for high pressure burners has narrowed down my options of cook top.
G'day Maddy,
These stoves can be categorised as a high-pressure stove, they do have a built-in regulator, however it isn't the same style as the larger 2.8kPa regulators used on Low-Pressure stoves. The longest hose for these stoves is 1.5m long.
If I use this with a disposable cylinder do I need to support the cylinder or can it just hang off the end of the regulator suspended in mid air? I am asking because if I use a stove stand (folding lightweight wire type) there is nowhere to put the disposable cylinder.
G'day Lynne,
The regulator arm will need to be supported if you're running it from the disposable cylinders so Campfire Stove Stand, unfortunately, won't suit. We'd recommend checking out the Easy As Stove Stand if you're wanting to use the stove with the disposable cylinders.
We are putting in a new kitchen and my stove will be removed. We need to buy a portable stove to use inside in the meantime.
G'day Susan,
Yes, all of LP Gas stoves that we sell are designed for outdoor use only.
Is it OK use for 9 kg LPG bottle? (add adaptor to collect 9 kg LPG)
G'day Ha,
Yes you can use the HyperFlae FyreCadet Stove with a 9kg gas bottle, you'll just need a POL to 3/8" BSP adapter.
Hi two questions, is the lid easily removable? Or fold 180’ Second does it come with any sort of bag? (They all should)
G'day Russ,
The lid on the Hyperflame FyreCadet can't be folded down flat to 180'. It should be possible to remove the lid, however you wouldn't be able to remove and reattach the lid easily so it's not something we'd recommend. The stove doesn't come with a bag, but you can purchase a bag separately here.
Hi Guys, I purchased a Fyrecadet and having a bit of trouble with it... it’s heat is too hot for low heat cooking. I use a thick cast iron pan and have a Colman grill plate but even on the lowest heat it burns the outside of food but not cooked through. Is there a way to reduce the heat?? I was thinking a different regulator attached to an lpg cylinder... would that work?? Cheers Mark
G'day Mark,
The HyperFlame FyreCadet packs a fair punch and therefore we have had a few reports of it being a little too hot if you're trying to simmer. Unfortunately, there is no other regulator that will work with the unit to reduce the heat output.
Hi can you get a plate or griddle to fit the cadet thanks
G'day Chris,
Coleman does make a nice, matching griddle with built-in grease cup for the Hyperflame stoves. You can view that by clicking here.
Hi I know Coleman make the 453g single use cylinders but have also seen the burnzomatoc brand. Are they the same/ interchangeable?
G'day Caroline,
We haven’t heard of that brand/name in particular, but with gas cylinders, as long as it is propane gas and has the correct fitting - then you should be able to use it with the Hyperflame stove.

G'day Darryl,
When the Coleman HyperFlame FyreCadet Camping Stove is packed up, it is 60L x 38D x 13H cm. When in use, it is 60L x 45D x 39H cm.
is there any options to exchange the regulator that extends directly from the unit to something that connections to my lpg cylinder?
G'day Miles,
Unfortunately, there are no other options that we're aware of. The regulator is a design frustration of what is otherwise a very impressive stove. We have shared this feedback to Coleman numerous times and will do so again.
Hi are the feet removable and if so what would be the stored height without the feet?
G'day Rick,
I've just had a look at the display, and it seems that the feet on the FyreCadet stove are not removable.
I will be a lone camper i usually cook at home on a one pot menu. which sys will suit
Can the Coleman green bottles be used with this cooker?
