The ever-popular Dusk to Dawn and Dirty Dee swags are now even better with this optional Hutch Canvas Swag Annex from Darche.
This super handy storage solution attaches to your Dirty Dee 1100 swag and can be used freestanding or paired with other swags outside of the Darche range. There are 3 mesh panels each with zip access and roll down 420gsm poly-cotton ripstop canvas flaps for zipping closed if you need to keep your gear out of the elements. Setup is a cinch with just one anodised 7001 aluminium alloy 9.5mm pole, and the 600gsm welded PVC bucket floor is the same as what you get on the Darche swags, so you’ve got reliability across the board. Butt the front door up to the end of your swag for easy ‘in swag’ access and give a thumbs-up to the integrated storm flap that shelters the attachment zone so the whole setup snugs together perfectly.
If you don’t need to stash your gear away but your furry best mate also wants a crash pad, then the Hutch from Darche can double as a perfect little kennel.

hi, I want to get one of these for a tilda swag for my dog. Question I have is assuming it doesn’t fit 100% (so you butt the hutch up to end of swag instead of the elastic skirt ) , does the hutch go under the end storm panels of the tilda swag so you can still guy rope the end of tilda swag to keep it taught and upright , then also guy rope the hutch? i’m just confused how one end of the swag stays stable & guyroped or if i’m missing something. CHEERS
G'day Amanda,
Your swag can be set up without guy ropes because it has a ridge pole across the top which holds the swag up.
The hutch would be set up against the end of the swag, but the storm panel would just hang flat against the end.
You wouldn't have full access into the hutch from inside the swag, just through the bottom of the window below the storm flap.
Would this work at all with the 23zero outbreak 1550? Is there any recommendations on how to make a little more space in the outbreak 1550??
G'day Brie,
I think I've answered this question for you already on the Hutch lite - its the same product, just a different material.
"The Hutch is designed for 1100 wide swags, but it can be set up fully self-supported, so could go next to swags of any size. The only consideration with the Outbreak is that the walls are tapered, so the Hutch won't actually but up neatly against it and you'll have a reasonable gap between them."
The only real option you have with the Outbreak 1550 is to set up a Tarp Shelter to increased overall covered living space. Theres no way to increase the size of the swag itself.
Check out the customer review section on the Camper Fly to see photos of how other people have set theres up with a swag.
Hi, With two doggo travel buddies, wondering if this can attach to either end so you could attach 2 to a dirty dee swag?
G'day Tamara,
The other end of a Dirty Dee swag is a lot smaller, so you won't be able to attach it properly like at the head end.
They are able to be set up as a stand alone shelter though, so you could set it up as close to the foot and as possible, you'll just need to use guy ropes.
Would this fit on an older darche awol 1100?
G'day Drew,
The Darche Hutch Canvas Swag Annex is designed to work with 1100 wide swags of any brand.
I don't see why the AWOL would be an exception, so you shouldn't have any issue.
Going off the measurements it should fit???
G'day Jeremy,
As far as we know the Hutch Canvas Swag Annex should fit the Ridgedome Swag in the same way it fits the Dirty Dee 1100. They have near-identical dimensions, so we can't of any reason that they won't fit. Unfortunately we can't physically try this one out as we don't have stock of the swag at the moment, but we're confident it will be a good fit.
Can you secure this to a AD 1100?
G'day Cheryl,
The Hutch is designed to be an exact fit with the Dirty Dee 1100 but you can use it next to an AD1100. Due to the design of your swag you'll need to keep the ends pegged out for stability, the hutch can then be set up next to the swag as it is self supporting.
Noting that it attaches to Dirty Dee 1100, just wondering if/how it would work with the Dusk to Dawn 1400.
G'day Chloe,
The Hutch Canvas Swag Annex will be narrower than the Dusk to Dawn 1400 so it won't directly attach and stay in place using the canvas skirt over the pole, however as it is self-standing you can set it up against the end for gear storage or similar, and still be able to access it via the end window on the swag.
Will this fit to a Bandit 1100 swag?
G'day Alex,
Yes, the Hutch Canvas Swah Annex will suit the Bandit 1100. The skirt and eyelet hole might not quite line up like it would on a Darche swag. However, given they're designed to be free-standing anyway this shouldn't pose any problems.
Wanting to know for those of us with the smaller swags and possible use for dog or smaller items that cant get wet.
G'day Luke,
Yep! The Darche Hutch Annex is designed to work with any 900mm wide swag.
Is there enough stretch to make it fit to the 1400 width?
G'day Andrew,
Darche has designed these to fit the 1100 swag, however, as it's a free-standing unit, I'm sure it will be fine - but just not as wide as your swag!
You've probably already answered this but just thought I'd double check. We're wanting to use it for our dog as she likes to take up a lot of space.
G'day Alex,
Darche has confirmed this is designed for the Dirty Dee 1100 but as it's free-standing, it can be used with other swags. It just won't attach or be as streamlined, but I'm sure your dog will appreciate her own swag though!
darche dusk to dawn 900
G'day Ethan,
They're designed to pair with the Dirty Dee 1100, however as they're self-supporting they will work with the Dusk to Dawn 900, they just won't match the end or have the option to use the elastic skirt on the Hutch to slip over the swag end poles.
Will that product fit my nebula 1550?
G'day Kyle,
The Hutch is a stand-alone option that can be set up next to your existing swag. They're designed for the Dirty Dee 1100, so they have a slightly different shape to the Nebula so they won't be an exact fit, or sit flush against the end like the images show, however, you could use it with the Nebula, there will just be a gap between the end of the swag and the end of the hutch due to the angles on the Nebula.
