Hillbilly uses heavy-duty Blue Steel so it should be fine to use this over a portable firepit. In terms of size, it would be a good fit for the 310 Firepit, we'd just recommend using it over the grill so you get a nice flat surface to work on.

I note that this is designed for a butane burner or a fire. Will it also work on a traditional, indoor, house stove? The cravings for a smash burger is not just when camping.

You could use this over a gas stove at home if you've got a burger craving! The only thing to consider will be whether it sits ok over the trivet/gas ring at home, as some have a bit of a different shape/overlaying grid.

Yes, you can use these plates on an LPG stove, the size fits the butane burners exactly, but they do fit well with lots of other options too.

Sorry, I misunderstood. The heat output won't be a problem - this hot plate is made from the same steel that Hillbilly use with all of their frypans, which can be used with any stove or directly over a camp fire.
