Exped Megamat 10 Duo1 answer
Can it fit the exped megamat 10 duo self inflating mattress to replace the existing mattress on this rtt?
Maya - 4744(5 years ago)
G'day Maya,
You can replace the Darche Hi-View Gen 2 Rooftop Tent mattress with the Exped Megamat Duo 10 however you won't be able to pack the tent away with the mattress inside the tent, you'll need to pack up and store the mattress separately in transit.

Can the roof top go on a Subaru forrestor. 1 answer
Hello just wondering if the rooftop tent attaches to a Subaru Forrestor, that is height and width. Tyanks

G'day Elaine,
You'll find all of the size dimension and weights under the specifications drop down menu on the product page. We'd generally recommend that you check these, measure your vehicle, and check the manufacturing standard on your vehicle to ensure that there is an adequate roof load rating to use a rooftop tent.

Fitting 1 answer
Will this fit mounted onto appropriate roof tacks on a navara d40?
Jacinta - 5333(6 years ago)
G'day Jacinta,
Without knowing the exact dimensions of your Navara it's hard to give you a definite answer but at a guess, I'd say yes. I'd recommend consulting with a roof rack specialist though as they would be able to assess your vehicle and give you a more accurate opinion based on their professional expertise. Cheers :)

Eclipse Awning1 answer
The staff tip states 'awning poles and Eclipse Awning not included', I get the poles part, which part of the illustration is the 'Eclipse Awning'? It appears that the window flaps are just extended on poles from the illustration. Can you clarify? Cheers
Michelle - Tamworth(6 years ago)
G'day Michelle,
The Eclipse Awning in the image is rolled up and mounted on the side of the vehicle. I've marked it in yellow in the image below to make it clearer. It's a completely separate item and I think we're just covering ourselves in case people spot it there.

If this tent is 31cm high when packed, does that mean you can’t leave sleeping bags etc in there? 1 answer
as above
Kev - 5062(8 years ago)
Hi Kev,Â
I've just checked with Darche, and they've said that there is a little bit of room in the Hi View for a light quilt or sleeping bag on top of the mattress whilst it's packed, but pillows may be a little ambitious because they are too bulky to squash down.
