This RTT is constructed from 260gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas which has a 1500mm PU waterproofing, with a sturdy upgraded 25mm internal aluminium frame which work together to protect you from the rugged Aussie climate. The zippered star gazing ventilation window lets you drift off to a spectacular view, and you access the tent through the telescopic easy action ladder. The entrance is covered by a full zip on 3-way annex shelter which keeps the entrance undercover.

What are the dimensions of the annex footprint on the ground? Would you recommend putting a tarp/groundsheet under the annex - if so which one?

The annex floor dimensions are 240L x 220W. You don't need a groundsheet as its a good quality PVC floor, however, if you wanted to just pick one with the closest dimensions to the above.

We've just checked with the team at Darche, and unfortunately not, if you mount the RTT to a lower vehicle or trailer then your ladder will just need to be angled.

Thanks for getting in touch, I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you're referring to the vehicle access opening but I can confirm that the tent is 1215mm across the back, and 1630mm long. I also just wanted to make sure you were aware that these are only available for collection in Keswick and Brendale.

Does the annex on the 1600 high view come in both 2.1 high and 1.6? I have a rack on my dual cab that's 1530 long so can't really go much bigger then a 1600 wide roof top

I've just double checked and unfortunately, you can only get the 1.6m high annexe in the 1800 or 2200 tent, so I don't think it will quite work with your set up. You can mount these sideways so that might work depending on the width of your car and whether the 1800 would overhand the sides or not.
