Here’s a box that ticks all the boxes! The Expedition134 Storage Box is perfect to stash gear in your boat, shed, ute or on top of the 4WD when you’re off the beaten track.
Designed by adventurers for adventurers, these boxes hold up to 55-litres worth of gear or supplies and create a reliable storage solution when you’re 4WD touring. They feature an all-weather seal and secure stacking capabilities where the base of each box locks into the lid of another. They are seriously tough with UV resistant and impact modifiers, and durable yet weigh only 4 kg with no metal parts to develop rust, corrode, or make an annoying rattle as you travel along corrugations. Each corner has an innovative and reinforced external tie-down point, allowing you to open the lid to get your gear while keeping your box secure! No need to loosen and untie all your load, but if you do want to strap it in across the top, then the lid has grooves where you can securely fit additional straps if necessary. These grooves also allow rain to run off, so you won’t get water pooling.
Expedition134’s Storage Box combines all the best features that campers, caravanners, 4WD tourers and serious adventurers are after. It’s been tried and tested in the harshest of Aussie conditions and holds its own every time.

This is complex overthinking but I am trying to work to an acceptable viable product of tolerance and function for my dry goods storage box. Can you please advise if the box is airtight seal? For example: I open a brand new box of cereal and pop it into the box during my travels.
G'day Sarah,
Dont know about airtight actually, I don't think it's been tested, but it's dust and water tight.
Our cereal, crackers etc just sit in their original packets in storage drawers in the camper once opened, and they're fine even after a week. Based on that I think a box like this is obviously more sealed than drawers or a cupboard, so would definitely keep your dry goods happy.
Hello Jus wondering what combinations of blacksmith clear top bags (or the smaller solid canvas bags) fit in the box? Assuming you could get two layers in?
G'day Annie,
The best bet will be to have a look at the video, Lauren unpacks the box and shows how some of the items will fit.
If you were wanting to use the small drawer bags, you can fit two on top of each other, as long as you don't overpack them (you'll need to squash them down a centimetre or two). You'll then have space down the side to stack some smaller bags down the side, or slot other items in. The internal dimensions are around Top 51.5L x 38W x 28.5H cm | Base 50L x 36W cm, so you can really go with any combination you'd like to suit your needs.
Can I also ask if this come is a smaller size /lower profile ?
G'day Maria,
The Expedition134 boxes only come is the one size.
can lid be removed
G'day Maria,
Yes, the lids can be removed if required.
Hi. It’s great you have the top and bottom internal dimensions. I’m wondering if you can include the top and bottom exterior dimensions (helps to work out if these will fit in a particular slide). Cheers
G'day Aaron,
The external top dimensions is as stated in the specifications, 57.5L x 44W, but the footprint of the box is 51L x 37W.
The sides of the box taper out slightly, so these are the minimum and maximum dimesions from the base to the top.
Hope that helps.
Could you please tell me the internal heights of the two different sections of the box
G'day Dan,
They're almost exactly half the box, bottom section 13.5, top section 14.5.
Hope that helps.
