It will depend on the recliner that you've got. The clamp is designed to fit around square or round frames of 17.5 - 32mm, so it will suit most of the Oztrail recliner chairs.

Hi guys, is this table fixed in position to the side of the camp chair or can it swivel or rotate to be positioned above your lap to use as a dinner table?

It's a little clunky, Matt, but the table swivels on two axis. Firstly it swivels within the black clamp in 30-degree increments and the table tilts back and forth. This is all done at the press of the red button.
So it will swivel around but it depends on where and how it is mounted as to whether it swings far enough to be used as a dinner table.
