Can I change it with a different solar panel1 answer
Can I change it with a different solar panel
Aaron - Tasmania(5 years ago)
G'day Aaron,
You can charge the Guide 10 with another branded solar panel, you'll just need to make sure the panel is no larger than 4W and has either a micro USB or 8mm input.

Is the solar input cable included 1 answer
The Guide 10 is compatible with the Nomad 7 solar panels (both made by Goal Zero). The junction box on the Nomad has output for USB, 9v car adaptor and the Guide 10 power pack, but does not include the cable for the Guide 10. Is the solar connection cable completely sold separately or included with the Guide 10?
Jacq - Manly West(6 years ago)
G'day Jacq,
I've given Goal Zero a call to clarify this for you as I wasn't 100% sure. They said the best option would be to charge the Guide 10 with the Nomad 7 via USB to micro USB (standard phone charge cable). If you had a larger panel, like the Nomad 14 that has the solar jack then you'd need the 8mm Input Extension Cable.

Number of Batteries charging1 answer
Can it charge just one or two (or three) batteries? Or it needs to have all four batteries to charge?
Alfred - Bunbury WA(6 years ago)
G'day Alfred,
I've just double checked and in the instruction manual there is a big warning that you must use the Guide 10 with all four batteries in place, so no you won't be able to use just one or two batteries in the Guide 10.
