The Ground Anchor pegs are so unique as they’re designed to push the peg deeper into the ground when the rope pulls against it. Tripping over bulky tent pegs won’t be an issue as this one can be hammered flat into the ground and are bright orange for visibility.

The Supa Peg Ground Anchor Tent Pegs work alright in the sand but they're not super long, so when it gets super gusty you might be in some strife. We'd recommend you go for a specific sand peg.

How long are these supapegs compared to a decent sand peg?

Hi Roger,

The part of the peg that drives into the ground is about 20cm long and 3cm wide. In sand, they probably perform in a slightly better manner than a standard sand peg of similar dimensions. Given the soft nature of sand, the peg will tend to pull through the sand rather than drive deeper.

Realistically though you can't expect this sand peg to perform as well in sand as another peg that is both wider and longer such as the 490mm Regular SupaPeg Sand Pegs.
