Can I get a usb cable replacement
G'day Ann,
The cable is a standard USB A to Micro USB cable which is common across alot of different appliances.
You should be able to pick one up from Officeworks, Department store, or possibly even a servo.
Hope that helps!
Can the tank lie flat and still send water via the hose to the tap? Ie the tap is not connected to tge water tank
G'day Colin,
The pump the draws water is inside the actual tap housing.
As long as the waterline is higher than the intake hose, you should be fine!
Can you get a longer hose for this or can you join two together for extra length
G'day Teena,
You can get a longer hose for this, we don't sell them but you can find them at your local hardware shop, you just need a generic 5mm Food Grade Tubing to your desired length. 1 longer hose would likely give a better connection than 2 joined together but both are possible.
Hi, To get a longer hose do you know what the internal diameter of the hose? Thanks
G'day Jessica,
We dont have small calipers to measure this exactly, but its basically 5mm.
Hope that helps!
It’s 6mm internal diameter. The 6mm vinyl pipe that Bunnings sells in five meter and 10 meter lengths will fit. The tap will draw water from at least a metre below - I haven’t tested on much more yet or whilst camping to see how long the charge will hold for.
Is there provision to attach the hose to your typically threaded hole of a water jerry can, where the conventional tap would go?
G'day,
No, there's not. You can potentially come up with a DIY solution, or even drill a small hole through the jerry can lid to thread the tap hose through, but the hose & attachments arent universally jerry can compatible.
Is it possible to purchase more of the self-adhesive metal pads so i can have more options for where to put my tap?
G'day Lindsay,
Thats an excellent question, they;re not something that we have access too but you may be able to pick a few up from Dometic directly.
Head here to find their Customer Support number, or a contact form.
Hope that helps!
We just tape ours down with sticky tape and remove when finished. Still works fine and not permanent
The three ways I would want to use this is on the go attached to my Stainless Steel Canopy, on my Tailgate and at Camp in multiple locations on my Stainless Steel Table. Can I confirm the Magnet is in the Unit not the Pads. If this Unit sticks to Stainless Steel like a Fridge Magnet it will be my new Best Friend for Coffee Stops and Cooking!
G'day John,
Yes, the base of the Faucet is magnetic, so it will work in the scenarios you mention. Just be sure to double check your stainless steel is magnetic, as not all types of stainless steel are!
Hey guys, could you tell me how long the hose is? Just wondering if where I hook my STS water bladder will reach to where I want to mount the tap! Thanks 😊 p.s luv you guys, and watch your videos like movies 🎥🤣🤣🤣🤣
G'day Teresa,
The hose is around 40cm long but we have had feedback from customers who have used an alternative hose up to 3m long, which still worked beautifully.
