Create extra shade options for your 3.0 OZtrail gazebo with the Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 from OZtrail.
This wall is made from 150D fabric which has a UVTex treatment that protects the material from UV damage and also creates a waterproof barrier. This fly attaches to your gazebo and provides 6 different options for shelter depending on what the conditions demand.
Suitable to use with all OZtrail gazebos with a 3.0 side wall, add extra versatility and protection to your set up with the Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 from OZtrail.
Will this fit your outdoor connection 3x3 gazebo?
G'day Stephen,
Unfortunately not, the Outdoor Connection walls attach using velcro strips, so they're a little different to the hook attachment method used on the Oztrail Gazebos. You might be able to make some variations to the awning to make it fit, however it won't connect without making these adjustments.
Can it attach to the delux gazebo oztrail
G'day Kade,
Yes, the Monsoon Rainfly is designed to connect to the Oztrail Deluxe 3.0m Gazebo.
In the picture it looks like I possibly can.
G'day Mary,
There isn't a straight forward way to join two of these together, but you could use the guy rope attachment points to tie two to each other, although it will create a bit of a gap. It's not something we'd suggest, but if you're needing a special setup for something it could be achievable.
Will the OZtrail Gazebo Portico 3.0 fit under the Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 Awning comfortably?
G'day Malachy,
Yes you can use the Portico 3.0 under the Monsoon Rainfly, you'll just need to add some extra awning poles to keep the rainfly fabric off of the Portico fabric.
Can this be used at the same time as the tent inner?
G'day Mason,
Yes the Monsoon Rainfly can be used at the same time as the inner tent.
Could you please let me know if the guy ropes are included to the kit?
G'day Alexander,
I've checked our stock and the guy ropes are included separately in the peg bag.
What poles do you recommend for this wall? Is this all required, guy ropes..?
G'day Simon,
We'd generally recommend the Oztrail Awning Pole Set, which comes in a fixed length of 180cm, this will allow a little bit of a downward tilt on the fly on most of the height settings and will encourage water to flow away from the gazebo. It comes with a couple of pegs and guy ropes, but it never hurts to make sure you've got a few spare for maximum flexibility of your setup.
how is it attached to the the gazebo
G'day Terrilea,
The Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 Awning attaches to your gazebo using small hooks that hook into the corners of the frame. They will also attach to the velcro patches on the inside of the gazebo canopy.
Monnsoon rinfly
G'day Robert,
We don't keep the Monsoon Rainfly 2.4 in our regular range, but we should be able to special order one for you as long as Oztrail have them available. If you send us an email we should be able to chase Oztrail up once they're all back on deck after the Christmas break and arrange a special order for you.
Can this be used with 4 poles and ropes without a 3.0m wide gazebo or does it require the gazebo for the one end that would attach (ie does that end have eyelets or not)? I'm looking for a light weight and light coloured awning that is UV and water resistant. I can get a canvas tarp cheaper but they are heavier and darker in colour.
G'day Nick,
The Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 Awning is designed to be attached to a gazebo and then pegged out from there. There are no eyelets at the gazebo end of the fly so we don't think it will work for what you're wanting to do unfortunately.
Is the Oztrail rainfly 3.0 awning available in blue
G'day Anthony,
Thanks for getting in touch, I've just double checked and Oztrail only makes the Monsoon Rainfly Awning in White.
I'm under the impression that the portico 3.0 doesn't come with a fly cover. would this do the trick?
G'day KJ,
The Gazebo Portico doesn't come with a specific water rating so yes we'd generally recommend pairing it with the Monsoon Rainfly. This will offer a 2000mm Waterhead rating which should keep you dry in the Portico.
I have a kings gazebo and want to add this style of wall but am not sure how it connects to the gazebo. Could you let me know how this attaches to the gazebo?
G'day Chris,
In theory, this should work with most 3-meter gazebos but I can't promise it will work on anything other than the Oztrail range. It might be worthwhile trying to compare the frame on your gazebo to the frames on the Oztrail gazebos and if they look similar you could be in luck. If you can make it into our Keswick store we have the Oztrail range on display for you to look at.
It will work with the king yes
