I have a Weber baby Q with the LCC27 connection and a camp stove with the 3/8" LH BSP outlet - will this adaptor allow me to connect the two or do I need another adaptor to connect the POL to the LCC27 fitting?
G'day Sean,
No, it won't.
LCC27 hoses cannot be connected to old superseded POL fittings, or be used with adaptors due to the extensive safety design. LCC27 is just straight up LCC27, as it stands there's no option for you to use both appliances from the same gas connection.
Depending on the stove you have, there may be a stove to LCC27 hose upgrade which means both appliances can be run off an LCC27 bottle. We'd be happy to help investigate that further for you if you want to get back to us with your stove details.
Unfortunately due to regulations with flame failure or thermo-coupling features that Weber and other similar BBQs are now subject to, I'm not sure if Weber would do a 3/8th hose option.
Hi John, this adaptor will screw onto a gas bottle with a 3/8 LH fitting and allow you to screw on an appliance with the larger POL fitting (generally low pressure stoves and BBQ's.) I can't imagine your lantern has the large POL fitting, so I recommend you give us a call to clarify exactly what you need. 1300 914 007.
