Does the sleeping bag come with straps/ties like in the video (as reviews state sleeping bag is hard to get back in)?
Laura - Newcastle, NSW(9 months ago)
G'day Laura,
It does - but generally sleeping bags are really challenging to get back in the bag. The best bet is to stuff it in, not roll it - you'll have the best success that way!

Two way zip?1 answer
Does this sleeping bag have a two way zip such that the bottom can be unzipped whilst keeping the side zipped up?
K - Brisbane City, QLD (1 year ago)
G'day,
Yep! Whilst its a single zip on this bag, there are two sliders, so you can open the foot end of the sleeping bag for ventilation if required.

Is it breathable?1 answer
How’s the breathability of the Coleman sleeping bag? I had one from Kmart and the sweat woke me up all the time.
CY - Macquarie Park, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Cy,
Sleeping bags arent meant to be breathable as such, especially the synthetic ones. If you are sweating it means your sleeping bag is too warm. You can open the sleeping bag up like a blanket to help with this, otherwise, check out the comfort temperature of your Kmart bag, and buy one with a higher rating.

Inner Lining1 answer
Is the inner material the same shiny material as the outer? or more of a fleecy comfy material?
Claudia - Cowra(4 years ago)
G'day Claudia,
The inner lining on the Fyrefly Kids Sleeping Bags is also polyester, so is very similar in feel and appearance to the outer material.

Using it in autumn1 answer
Can we use it cold night (11 C to 13 C Temperature), is it suitable for that and can I use it for my 3 year old?
Sathish - 2140(8 years ago)
G’day Sathish,
The Fyrefly Illumi-Bug has a comfort rating of 7 °C degrees, and in general we say to add 5 degrees to the comfort rating of most bags so it should be just right - but it is going to depend on the individual child.
If your child is a cold sleeper I would recommend going for an Explore Planet Earth Buckley Sleeping Bag as it’s got a comfort rating of 0 °C so it will provide some extra warmth and be a little more versatile for the winter months.
The length is going to be quite long for a 3-year-old, but all of our children’s bags are around the 150-160cm mark so they’ll be able to grow into it.
Every person is different so it is hard to say what will be the best option, but I hope that gave you some idea of what will be suitable.

Can it be converted to 'double bed'?1 answer
Does this model have the option to be converted to a double bed with another same model bag (different color)?
turo - Yallambie(8 years ago)
Hi Turo, you can open these sleeping bags fully and zip two together (either colour) to make a small double sleeping bag :)Â
