Hot days at school can leave your kids cranky and wiped out, which is not a good combination. While you can’t control the heat, having a cold drink sure does help - which is where the Thermos Funtainer Insulated Drink Bottle comes in.
The vacuum insulated technology maximises temperature retention and will keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours. The silicone mouthpiece pops up easily, and the lid has a handy carry loop and hygienic push button function that makes drinking and sealing everything up easy. Made with a stainless-steel interior and exterior to withstand the rigours of being rattled around in a lunchbox, or desk – this bottle is built to be kid-proof.
With a range of charming patterns as well as Disney princesses, Star Wars characters and superheroes such as Spider-Man – there’s a design to suit every child.
will the base of the bottle dent if dropped?
G'day Annika,
The bottom base is a slip-resistant plastic material. If dropped the bottom edges may end up dented, but it will likely depend on the height it is dropped from, the surface it is dropped onto, and how heavy it is when dropped.
Does the Construction Truck Design have a carry loop, please?
G'day Marianna,
None of the Thermos Funtainer Insulated kids bottles has a carry loop sorry.
Some of the funtainers do have a carry loop and it appears some of the ones you have in stock have them, they are flush with the lid and flip up when needed. The trucks and butterfly design on your website look like they have this feature. My kids love the flip up loop!
G'day Carolyn,
I've run down to double check and you're spot on, the Construction and Butterfly prints do have the carry loop but for some reason, the others don't. It must be a new feature because I'm pretty sure I would have spotted this when answering the query above. Thanks for
I'm specifically wondering about the Construction Truck design, please. Thank you.
G'day Marianna,
I've done a bit of research here for you and I can confirm the Funtainers are BPA and Phthalate free, I just couldn't find anything regarding PVC. Thermos has all their products tested independently to ensure they adhere to regulations regarding children's products. You can download the individual certification certificates on their global website. This colourway is no longer available in the US so I couldn't find specific certification for it, but I checked half a dozen other colours and they all received the same results so I'll admit I am making an educated assumption here but I hope this helps.
Dear Snowys, Just trying to work out the actual capiof these containers in millilitres please?
G'day Tam,
I've just double checked the specifications from Thermos on the Funtainer Kids Insulated Drink Bottle and they are 355mL. I'll get the team to add that into our specifications for next time someone asks!
Could you please provide a quote for four new straws (one for each of the bottles pictured)- two of the ones with handles, two of the ones without handles?

Hi, when does the sale finish on this product?
G'day Huiling,
We don't run sales, but the good news is that instead, we offer an everyday low price that is available for 365 days throughout the year.
Hi, just wondering how one can clean the straw of the bottle? And can it be replaced once worn out or broken? Thanks!
G'day Roch,
The Thermos Funtainer Kids Insulated Drink Bottle can be disassembled to allow you to clean the straw and mouthpiece with ease, using a pipe cleaner. When you open the bottle for the first time, you'll notice a use and care guide tucked inside it that will give you some tips on caring for the bottle, which makes life pretty easy! As for replacing the straw or mouthpiece, we can certainly get one organised for you through Thermos without too much worry at all!
Are these genuine Thermos bottles? I have tried a cheaper option on eBay and when it arrived and I flipped the top, there were obvious differences between the spout parts on the Ebay purchase and my existing shop-bought bottles. The eBay version broke within two weeks of use.
G'day Mandy,
Rest assured, we only sell genuine products here at Snowys, including Thermos brand.
How long would it retain heat
G'day Charlene,
Thermos has only had the Funtainer Kids Insulated Drink Bottle tested for a cold rating (12 hours), but not a warmth rating. I'd say that this is because they don't intend on warm/hot water going into a bottle designed for young kids.
Does this drink bottle have a straw?
G'day Anna,
Yes, the Thermos Kids drink bottles do have straws. They are underneath the pop-up lids.
