Induction Cooktop2 answers
Can this dish be used on an Induction Cooktop
Paul - Bright, VIC(4 years ago)
G'day Paul,
The Frying Dish/Wok isn't able to be used with an induction cooktop as the base is aluminium.
Leece - Snowys(4 years ago)
The base is 'encapsulated aluminium', meaning a sheet of aluminium sandwiched between layers of stainless steel, similar to most kitchen-grade stainless cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom layer of stainless, it will work on induction. Worth checking...

Are the handles heatproof enough to go in the oven - what temperature ?1 answer
Are the handles heatproof enough to go in the oven up to what temperature
Richard - Prospect(4 years ago)
G'day Richard,
Thanks for your the question, I've just looked into this and it looks like the handles are actually only heat-resistant, so I've had that changed on the product page to clear up any confusion, sorry about that!
As far as their website says, the handles of this wok are designed to be put on top of the lid of the inner sleeve of the Cobb Cooker, so they sit outside of the lid away from the direct heat/flame. I hope that helps Richard!

Can this be used on a gas stove as well?1 answer
Just wondering if it can be used on a regular gas stove or is only intended to be used with the Cobb? Thanks!
Paul - Coffs Harbour(5 years ago)
G'day Paul,
The Frying Dish/Wok is specifically designed to be used with the Cobb, the handles sit fairly low on the sides, so I think if you tried to use it on a gas stove the flame may creep up the sides a little and cause some damage to the handles. It's not something I'd want to recommend using on a gas stove sorry.

When using the Wok do you need any other accessory or does it sit on top of the burning briquettes.1 answer
Any other accessories required using the wok.Does it sit just above the coals
Ian - Mandurah(5 years ago)
G'day Ian,
The Wok itself sits on the Cobb, supported by the handles, and does not come into direct contact with the 'Cobblestones' at all. Hope that helps.
