Get the most out of your awning, while protecting the underside of your Fast Frame Tourer Tent with the Fast Frame Floor Guard from OZtrail.
The Fast Frame Floor guard is highly durable but will still allow for the ground to breathe underneath, so you can preserve the floor of your tent and keep the terrain in good condition.
It will also give you space under your awning to store your dirty or wet gear away from your clean sleeping quarters.
Can use this for Coleman 8P Instant Up side entry?
G'day Gerald,
Yes you could use a Fast Frame Floor Guard under a Coleman 8P tent, however, you won't get an exact fit like you would with the Coleman Instant Up Ground Mesh Footprints.
Please let me know the width & length of the 240, thanks.
G'day Dee,
Just select the 240 size from the drop-down menu and you'll get the external dimensions. The 240 size is 420L x 240W cm.
I've lost my bag for my 450 floor guard. What other bags would this fit in? Also my husband put a small hole in it when he put the poles upside down. What do you recommend to patch to stop it from fraying?
G'day Angela,
We'd recommend grabbing yourself a Canvas Duffle Bag in medium to fit your Floor Guard 450. I term of repairing it, we'd suggest grabbing yourself some nylon mesh/shade cloth (from a hardware store) and using some fishing line or similar to stitch a patch over the damaged section, this should reduce the risk of the hole fraying. You could also lightly melt the edges of the hole to stop them from fraying further.
Would the Fast Frame Floor Guard 420 be a suitable option for the Coleman instant up 10?
G'day Brett,
You can definitely use the Fast Frame 420 Floor Guard under your Coleman Instant Up 10P tent. It will come out further than the base of the tent and suit when the side awning is up.
I was just wondering if you could advise if the ground sheet for the Oztrail Fast frame 450, could be used on the Blackwolf Turbo Lite 450, as the dimensions for the tent seem almost identical, however the Oztrail sheet is significantly cheaper. Also if it is suitable, is it made out of similar material? Thanks
G'day Dave,
Other than the peg holes potentially being in the wrong spot, there shouldn't be any issues with using the Oztrail Fast Frame Floor Guard with your Black Wolf Turbo Lite 450. The only difference in quality is that the Black Wolf uses slightly better quality mesh.
Do you have a floorguard which would work with the Cape 4? I cant see this model on youe site. Thanks
G'day Greg,
From my research, it appears the Cape 4 was an exclusively cheaper option tent made by Oztrail for Anaconda. I don't believe there is a specific floor guard available but you could try asking Anaconda?
Alternatively, the Oztrail Fast Frame 240 Floor Guard would work, however, you would have a signifcant overhang because of the allowance for an awning which the Cape 4 doesn't have.
Another option which I'd recommend is the Oztrail Ultra Mesh Tarp. This is our most popular ground sheet and the 2.4 x 2.4 m tarp would work well for you. These are available here.
Does this let dirt fall through it like the Blackwolf groundsheets? Can the Blackwolf groundsheet be used for the Oztrail 450 (do they match up?)
G'day John,
Some dust and dirt will filter through this floor guard, but mainly it will protect the underside of your tent and let moisture through.
As far as sizing, the Fast Frame 450, and Turbo Cabin 450 are very similar in size, but we are not entirely sure if the floor guard tapers differently.
It may very well may match up, but we haven't tested this ourselves so we can't confirm them to be a perfect match.
Does this let sand through in a similar way to the Black Wolf ground Sheets?
G'day John,
The Fast Frame Floor guard is quite similar to domestic shade cloth, so some grains of sand and dust may filter through, but not on the level of something like the C-Gear mat. It will however, protect the underside of your tent, allow the ground underneath to breathe, and for moisture to fall through.
looking on the description after selecting the size 450 tourer. Reading on it states compatible for the 420. Does the flooring actually cover from the back of the tent to the front of the awning?
G'day Liz,Â
I've just looked into this, and it looks like there was a typo in the product description, so I do apologise about the confusion. I've updated the website so it should reflect the correct details now.
The Fast Frame 450 Floor Guard is definitely compatible with the Fast Frame 450 Tourer/Cruiser tent model, and it will cover the very back of the tent to the edge of the awning.Â
Hi, are these floors also for the 300 twin model? The front wall for the awning has angled sides do the poles are angled - is there a floor that fits?
G’day Daniel,
I’ve just checked our system, and we don't have this tent in stock anymore. I've also had a look in the 2017 Oztrail supply catalogue and it's not there so I think it has been discontinued.
From the information I could find on the Fast Frame Tourer 300 Twin, it measures 660L x 480W cm.
The closest floor guard size to your Twin 300 is the 300 Plus size which is 660L x 300W cm, but that won’t cover the the awning so you might want to considering getting a seperate tarp for that area.
What is the difference between the Oztrail Fast Frame Floor Guards 300 and the 300 plus please?
G'day Emma,
I've just double checked for you from the information provided by Oztrail, and the only difference between the 300 and 300 Plus sized Fast Frame Floor guards is size.
The 300 Plus Floor Guard is meant for the 300 Plus sized Tourer tent (which is a superceded model) and the Cruiser 300 Plus Fast Frame tent.
