Sneaking away for the weekend and can’t be bothered loading up with your whole camp setup? Chuck in the Fast Frame 4P Tent from OZtrail, and you’ll be off and away in no time.
With a single room footprint its ideal for couples or quick trips, and holds its place nicely with a heavy-duty roof frame hub for stability. There are large side and rear windows, all with No-See-Um Mesh for privacy and insect-free ventilation, as well as a generous, easy step front door with an awning for a bit of extra shade. For the grown-ups, the Fast Frame also includes a Duraplus pole in the vestibule to create a little more headroom so you won’t have to stoop so much and with 2.4 x 2.2m of sleeping space, you can stretch out and hog it all to yourself or round up the kids and pile them all in.
As its name suggests, the Fast Frame 4P from OZtrail will fit up to 4 people or less if you prefer a bit more space and comfort. Either way, with the oversized and easy to stuff carry bag, you’ll have it set up or packed away quicker than you can say Fast Frame!

groundsheet1 answer
what is the best groundsheet for this tent.
Eve - Melbourne, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Eve,
The footprint of this tent is 220cm x 240cm, so something like the Ultramesh Tarp in the 8x*ft size will be the closest fit.

Set up1 answer
Appreciate your thoughts on this Fast Frame 4 p verses a 4p Dome tent - which is the easier to put up/pack down when by yourself?
Greg - Berowra, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Greg,
The Fast Frame would be faster, purely from the point that that frame goes up with one push - but you still need to peg it out, add your fly, guy ropes, etc. If you're old hand at putting up a dome tent, you'll probably not be too far behind. There are other considerations though - the Fast Frame tents have the advantage of more upright walls, which can give you abit more functional internal space....but the Dome tents do have the advantage of having readily available pole replacements or DIY repair options, due to the simple frame design. If you need any other help in deciding which way to go, feel free to give us a buzz on 1300 914 007.

inner opening windows2 answers
can the windows be opened and closed from the inside?
nicole - Ocean View, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Nicole,
Yes, there are internal flaps made from solid fabric that zip up to close the window. I'd rely on this for privacy or sun/wind shelter only, and if you are expecting rain make sure to use the fly. Hope that helps!

Compare Coleman1 answer
How does this tent compare to Coleman Instant Up 4P Tent? which one is better quality (durability)?
Halan - 2145(4 years ago)
G'day Halan,
The Fast Frame 4 and Instant Up 4P are very similar tents, they have a similar design, size and materials. The main difference between the two is the internal tent, the Fast Frame has a lot more internal mesh than the Coleman, so it will likely suit warmer climates a little better. The Coleman will do a slightly better job in colder climates.

Privacy screens1 answer
Other than nosee-um mesh on the inner, are there also privacy screens on the door and windows?
John - St Clair(4 years ago)
G'day John,
Yes, the windows and doors are dual-layer, so they can be set up to provide airflow or privacy.
