It needs to be connected to a water source i'e' a tap Megan. It comes with fittings to do so, and directions for how to attach the water source are outlined in the user manual. You can download this manual from our website underneath the product description.

Is this portable can it just be used in the annex what is the wash load1 answer

You can pick it up and move it around Anne but it lends itself to being left in one place, we have other machines that are more portable than this one. That being said, there is no reason why you couldn't set this up in an annex, as long as you have a 240 V power supply and somewhere to drain the water. This machine has a 2.5 kg wash load.
