The Extreme 270 Awning by Bushwakka takes you from four-wheel-driving to all wheels parked, windows down, and awning out!
Be it rain or UV rays, a 900D waterproof polycotton canvas treated with UV50+ offers superior protection from the elements, spanning to a total of 11 square metres for adequate shade. In wet and windy weather, make use of the tie-off points to create a gutter for water run-off, while built-in legs offer versatility, moveable to other arms of the awning, and a quick-release rope ratchet for tensioning keeps your setup intact so you can loosen up.
Owed to an effortless one-person set-up and pack-down process, bask in outback tranquility sooner – while an aluminium square-tube frame and stainless steel hardware boasts a lightweight but strong setup. Plus, light up those late-night cuppa times owing to two built-in LED light arms providing both white and amber lighting, equipped with a 5-metre cord and 12-volt accessory plug for convenience.

I have a current model hiace van and want to know if this Awning will cover the rear door when it up and can you fit walls to it, camping with the rear door open
Stephen - Eldorado(2 months ago)
G'day Stephen,
I have asked for some advice from Bushwakka and they have advised it should cover the rear door although the tailgate/rear door may hit the Awning arm. You can stick a foam strip on the arm, or a pool noodle to help protect your rear door.
As to whether you can fit awning walls to this as well we would need to take some measurements of your back door, this awning does have the most rear space to accommodate, but one edge does angle off and may not cover the rear door completely when it's up to be able to attach walls as well.

Bush walk’s awning 1 answer
What wind spend it it rated to when free standing?
Peter - East Perth, WA (4 months ago)
G'day Peter,
Bushwakka dont provide a wind rating for their awnings, but have had them out a shows and at the beach, etc with no issues. They've only ever tied them down overnight or when the awning isnt attended. Not all awning brands do wind testing, it largely just comes down to common sense and having some tie downs available if the weather kicks off.
