Do reckon then holes in the colander wold be fine enough gauge to use for straining rice? Cheers

G'day Ian,
I've just had a look and I think you should be fine to use this colander to strain rice.

Will this pack with the Essentials bowl?1 answer
Will this colander nest inside or pack well on top of the popup bowl like the other non-Essentials Companion bowl colander?
Tim - Melbourne(6 years ago)
G'day Tim,
The Essentials Collander will nest inside the Essentials Bowl when they're popped up. When they're popped down they sit flat but don't nest. The Popup Colander & Bowl nest together very nicely.

Can it be used as a steamer?1 answer
the second photo shows a flat item with a handle, and no holes. Probably a wrong pic? Is there a photo of it packed flat? wondering if I could use is to steam some dumplings or something.
Tim - Melbourne(6 years ago)
G'day Tim,
The Popup Essentials Colander isn't really designed to be used as a steamer, I would dare say that there would be too much heat for the silicone and polypropylene material to withstand. We'll jump on a fix up that image now.
