Considering this tent has a small packed size, can you reccomend a queen (2 person) mattress that would fit the tent and also have small packed size?
Henry - Aspley, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Henry,
The sleeping area of this tent will fit pretty much any of the queen or double mattresses we sell. The ones with the smallest pack size are the EXPED SynMat Duo or the Sea to Summit Comfort Plus.

Question on size and footprint1 answer
Can you tell me if a double single Monstamat would fit in this tent? Also, can you recommend a footprint/tarp to go underneath?
David - Sydney(4 years ago)
G'day David,
Unfortunately, those two mats won't quite fit, we'd suggest going up to the Escape Plus 4E to fit these two mats. We'd suggest the 2.44 x 3.65m Ultramesh Tarp.

Escape plus 3E (and 4E)1 answer
Hi, I’m thinking of this tent for a weekend away for just myself. I’m only 1.5m tall 60 yr old female. Will I be able to put this up by myself? I also was thinking about the bigger 4E in this series, but figure pulling the fly over such a tall tent might prove difficult if there is wind about. I’d love your thoughts. Thanks

G'day Claire,
The Escape Plus 3E and 4E are relatively easy to set up, and you shouldn't have any troubles setting up either by yourself. The 4E does have a maximum head height of 1.75m so while this will allow you to stand up in it, you may well find it a little tricky to get the fly over the top yourself. It is very possible, however, if you're after the easier option then the 3E will suit and give you plenty of room for solo camping.
