The Companion EPAK 12V Led Strip Light runs off a 12V power source using a car cigar type plug so you'd need a battery like a Goal Zero Yeti 150 with the right type of input. It'd work great but probably isn't the cheapest option for what you're using it for. We do sell the Oztrail Mutli-Use LED Spotlight kits that might suit your needs. You could run these run on rechargeable AAA batteries.
