They will not work on either side as the awning isn't symmetrical, and the Walls have to have an inside and outside for seams and waterproofing. They are different walls, the code is the same but the supplier codes are different. 

When you head to pages for each wall set, you'll need to choose a Drivers or Passengers side option.

Yes, the Drivers Side walls will fit a pre-2020 Awining.
It is just the walls that have changed, you just can't join a Gen 1 wall to a Gen 2 wall as the connector zips have changed. 

You can connect the Gen 2 Walls to a Gen 1 Awning.

It won't, I'm sorry.  You'll need the 180 wall set for the 180 awning.  If you are only wanting one wall, you can roll up each section individually to have either one or two walls down if you don't want all three sides covered.

To clarify, your awning is set up on the passenger side, but its backwards - is that correct?

The 270 Eclipse walls underwent a zip change that connects each separate wall panel to the next one along.
These current walls will have no issue connecting to the Gen 2 awning, but if you have Wall 1 or 2 purchased early 2020 or before, this wall will not be compatible.

Each wall piece is unique and will only fit on the compatible awning edge (as per the product images)
If you would like the flexibility to cover any side, you will need all 3 wall sets to set up when required.

If you're comparing the passenger and driver's side walls then they are different. This is to cater for the tapered angles that each segment of the awning creates.
