Does this filter remove bacteria? 1 answer

It is mentioned that the filter removes chlorine and rust but does it remove bacteria?

They don't specify bacteria on this filter, John, so I wouldn't rely on it for this. It is designed to be used inline with taps in which drinking water can be obtained and makes the water more palatable by removing taste and odour rather than bacteria. They do make other filter types, but we currently don't carry these at Snowys.

Will water run through this without much pressure? As in just from a gravity fed hose? Cheers

G'day Jack,

The Easywell Inline Water Filter is designed to be attached using standard hose connections so will need some pressure greater than just gravity (with a maximum of 125psi if you're running it through a pump).
