Hi just wondering if 2 of these would fit in the end rooms of the 10p tent? We have struggled to for 2 in with the tent angle as it gets higher off ground. Thanks
Haz - Scone, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Haz,
Yes 2 of these would fit in the end rooms of the tent with some room. The sleeping area is around 210cm x 230cm in the end rooms and the low-rise stretchers would be better to avoid more of the tent wall slope.

How many fit in the Coleman 6p?1 answer
Could you fit 3 of these in the Coleman Instant Up 6P Gold Evo Tent?
Tiffany - Perth, WA (1 year ago)
G'day Tiffany,
Yes, you can. We haven't tried 3 out specifically, but based on our calculations trying one out, you can use 3 and will have around 50cm of width space left over and you'll have just under a meter of floor space between the tent door and foot of the stretchers.

Would these be ok outside to put a swag on?
Renee - Heyfield, VIC(2 years ago)
G'day Renee,
Yes, it's a common practice to use a swag and stretcher combo. We do recommend as best practice to set up under an awning or tarp shelter, it gives you a nice dry area to get in and out of your bed, and store your shoes, etc - although not essential.

Coleman Instant Swagger 3P1 answer
Would 2 of these stretchers fit in the Coleman Instant Swagger 3P tent?
Mark - Mount Evelyn, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Mark,
They would fit it run side to side, as in across the doorway, but that means whoever sleeps on the back one will have to climb over the front one. Unfortunately stretchers arent suitable for this tent to have running front to back, the tapper of the walls is too steep & the stretcher presses on the tent.

Will i be able to use 2 of these in an RV4?
Ruben - North Sydney (3 years ago)
G'day Ruben,
You'll be able to just fit 2 of these stretchers in the RV 4 front to back. You can also run them from side to side, but that will make accessing the rear stretcher more difficult.

Fit S2S 183x63 mattress?1 answer
Would this work with the: Sea To Summit Comfort DLX SI Sleeping Mat RW, which is 183x 64cm, or does the mat need to fit inside the stretcher rails? Would a strap or two (like those used to hold 2 megamat's together) make it more secure?
Justin - Orange, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Justin,
You'll be fine to use the Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe on the OZtrailEasy Fold Low Rise Single Stretcher without any issues. Its very common to use self-inflating mattresses like this on a stretcher, and you shouldn't need to worry with straps or tying it on.

Fit inside tent 1 answer
Would this fit inside the Coleman 3p traveller tent?
Leish - Northlakes (4 years ago)
G'day Leish,
You should be able to just fit the Low Rise Single Stretcher in the Traveller 3P tent, however, due to the curved wall design of the tent, you might need to angle the stretcher on a diagonal inside the tent to stop the stretcher frame touching against the inside of the tent.

Feet of bed1 answer
Hi There - do you have any product that can go under the feet of the bed to protect the tent floor? Have you had any reports of the feet causing tent floor rips?
Brett - Leumeah(4 years ago)
G'day Brett,
The feet on the low rise stretcher do a good job of spreading out the weight and have smooth bases to minimise the impact on your tent floor. There isn't a specific product, but if you did want to add an extra bit of protection you could use some small carpet squares, folded fabric, or some cut-up rubber matting under the feet.

Hi there can we fit 2 of these in the RV31 answer
Looking to do a road trip with wife both in 50’s using a rav4 hence which is why we are looking at the RV 3
Dean - 3104(4 years ago)
G'day Dean,
You should be able to use two of the low rise single stretchers in the RV3 tent, however, you may find you have to run them across the tent rather than from front to back, due to the slope on the back of the tent. The RV4 or RV5 should give you enough space to fit them in front to back.

Hi, is there a way to connect two singles together?1 answer
My partner and I sometimes camp separately so a queen size would be too big for 1 person
Nadine - Footscray(5 years ago)
G'day Nadine,
There isn't anything specific to attach two single stretchers together however you could use some small straps to attach the frames together at the centre hinge point once you've set them up. They do have fairly good feet on them though, so they tend not to really move too much once you're on them.

Is this something an 8 year old could set up by themselves?1 answer
I’m looking for a stretcher that my 8 year old can carry and set up by himself for a cub camp.
Emma - 2774(5 years ago)
G'day Emma,
The Oztrail Easy Fold stretchers are really easy to set up and pack away. Wether or not your 8 year old could do it is hard to say, as what one child can do another may not, but as an idea my 8 year old lad definately could. Your best bet would be to do a few practise runs at home to make sure he is confident doing it all solo!
