Double mattress1 answer
Would you feel the support beam running under a double mattress, creating a slightly highpoint through the middle? Would you be better off using 2 singles? Has anyone tried fitting the Exped Megamat in here?
Stuart - Chapel Hill, QLD (3 weeks ago)
G'day Stuart,
You're better off with 2 singles on and double stretcher with a centre bar - the tent itself isnt a straight forward size, and most double mats including the EXPED will be a touch too big. You'd need a double that was within these dimensions 193L x 130W, or two singles 193L x 65W or smaller.

Double Mattress fit1 answer
Would the Zempire Monstamat Twin Self-Inflating Mattress fit comfortably?
John - Prestons, NSW (1 month ago)
G'day John,
The Monstamat is about 10cm too long, and a touch wider than the sleeping area in this stretcher tent. Whilst you could fit it in there will be abit of pressure on the tent inner material which can put tension on seams and the zips, and potentially cause issues overtime.
Hi, when was this version released ? Why are there no reviews or demo videos ? Cheers Simon
Simon - Falcon, WA (6 months ago)
G'day Simon,
This new model was released around July/August 2023, there have been a few sales, but we haven't seen any reviews from our customers just yet! There is an Easy Fold 2P Stretcher Tent Overview Video from OZtrail on YouTube and a few reviews on the OZtrail website. The older version of this tent was the OZtrail Ultimate All Weather Queen Stretcher which is now discontinued but has a bit more info and reviews on this model.

Exped megamat1 answer
Hi guys I have an exped megamat (double) and wondering if that mat would fit in. I know the mat is a few centimeters bigger then the sleeping area advertised but thought it was be fine if the fly on the tent doesn’t touch the mesh inner tent
Dave - Adelaide, SA(7 months ago)
G'day Dave,
You will get abit of pressure on each end, but it shouldnt be too bad. You are right, as long as that not pushing out to the fly and creating a wicking point, you should be ok.

Mattress & All Weather1 answer
G'day. What mattress suits this stretcher tent? Also if this stretcher tent is suitable for cooler climate? Thank you.
Eric - Marsden Park, NSW(11 months ago)
G'day Eric,
The Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Self-Inflating Double Sleeping Mat would fit comfortably in the 2P stretcher tent. This tent has a waterhead rating of 1500mm, meaning a 1500mm high column of water can be held up against the fabric for one minute before a drop of water seeps through.
This would be suited to light to medium rainfall and be okay for the colder climate, but not suited to snow or extreme cold. It is mostly mesh on the inner giving good ventilation and if in colder weather you would want to focus on getting a well-insulated mat and sleeping bag also.
