No need for a stove, with the Cecil & Co Easy Boil Billy you can make a cup of tea with a firefighter, or a few twigs and a match.
A funnel situated in the middle of the billy combined with the galvanised base facilitate a small fire that delivers heat over a large surface area.
The end result... less time waiting around for your tea or coffee.

Is this a REAL Aussie billy?1 answer
I remember being around REAL bushmen in the late 1970's. They use to spin their billy in circles not long after it boiled when making gum leaf tea (to mix the tea). Although we didn't have to ask this question back then, but will the bail and its supports on this billy hold up?

G'day Mark,
The Cecil & Co Easy Boil Billy Teapot has been discontinued, so, unfortunately, I'm not able to test out the strength for you.

Doesn't the handle get red hot?1 answer
John - Kinka Beach 4703(8 years ago)
Hi John, with the Cecil & Co Easy Boil Billy Teapot we would recommend pushing the handle to the side when boiling water - as the heat comes from up from the middle. You may want to keep a tea towel handy just in case it does get a little too warm, but the handle shouldn’t burn your hand if you exercise caution and use the billy properly.

Can this be used with a Trangia burner?1 answer
Raina - MELBOURNE, VIC(8 years ago)
Hi Raina, this billy would likely fit on top of the Trangia burner, but because of the size of the flame, you’d be sitting there for quite a long time before your water would boil so I wouldn’t recommend the two together. On its own the billy works really well so you probably don’t need a burner with it – just a few twigs and a match!
