It's not the lightest walking pole on the market, but what it lacks in bells and whistles when compared to its more expensive rivals, the LEKI Eagle trekking poles make up for in the outstanding value for money it represents.
Made with an extremely robust and hard-wearing alloy and still featuring the quality Super Lock system plus the ever-reliable LEKI Carbide tips, the LEKI Eagle delivers performance and durability that rivals any pole on the market at a price that will blow your socks off.
The handle is plastic with grooves that help keep your hands free of sweat, along with an adjustable strap and the same safety release found on all LEKI poles, the Eagle will provide all the functionality that an average bushwalker demands with longevity that will by far outlast the less expensive poles on the market.

Weight rating per pole1 answer
What is the maximum kg load rating per pole please?
Craig - Somerton Park, SA (9 months ago)
G'day Craig,
The poles themselves don't come with a load rating, but the Leki Super Lock system which these Eagle Walking Poles use has been tested up to 140Kg. Anything beyond that and the locking system may fail.
Having said that though, trekking poles aren't really designed to fully bear load, they're mostly just to help keep a good cadence, and help with balance on rocky or uneven terrain. If you make sure that your body is carrying itself and not relying on the poles to bear your weight too heavily, you should be fine.
